Tom’s public service career includes serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester County.

As a Village Trustee, he has kept tax increases below inflation while maintaining essential services, improved dialogue with the County Police Department by implementing quarterly meetings, and saved taxpayer money by helping stop unconstitutional proposals that could have resulted in costly lawsuits.
 

Tom has been a consistent advocate for moving the Preston Way Bridge reconstruction forward. He has voted to advance the project and, in August 2025, was the lone vote against spending up to $10,000 on an additional title search, saying he believed it would not reduce the Village’s responsibility for the project.

The New York State Department of Transportation has stated that the bridge is Village-owned and jointly maintained by Mount Kisco and the MTA. Whatever disagreements remain over ownership, maintenance, and cost-sharing, Mount Kisco is the municipality advancing the reconstruction. We have to lead the project forward; no other entity is going to rebuild the bridge for us.​
