Endorsing a Candidate
The Mount Kisco Democratic Committee has worked to build a respectful and serious process for reviewing all candidates seeking the Committee’s endorsement. Endorsements requested from the Mount Kisco Democratic Committee routinely include candidates running for local Village office, County Legislature, State Assembly, State Senate, Governor, Congress, and the U.S. Senate. Endorsements are also requested by candidates running for Supreme Court, County Court, and Family Court.

Celebrating Juneteenth
The Mount Kisco Democratic Committee celebrates Juneteenth, marking the day in 1865 when news of the end of the Civil War and the abolition of slavery finally reached enslaved people in Texas — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued.

Petitioning in Mount Kisco
The Mount Kisco Democrat Committee agreed that we ask the community to sign for Cait Conley and Beth Davidson when we petition for Mount Kisco and Westchester candidates. We believe that Conley and Davidson are both exceptional candidates who can beat Mike Lawler and serve all residents of New York Congressional District 17. If anyone petitions for any other candidate, they are not the preferred candidate of virtually every Democrat committee in CD-17.

MKDC Endorses Trustee Candidates
Congratulations to Tom Luzio and Mike McGuirk on their endorsement for the Mount Kisco Village Board of Trustees for the 2026 election! Luzio, a sitting Trustee, has been a Mount Kisco resident for 11 years. Prior to joining the board, he worked in the FBI, then as an assistant district attorney and assistant attorney general for Westchester County. McGuirk, a 22-year resident of Mount Kisco and a professional musician, has served on the Planning Board since 2021 and on the C
